Bengal Warriors is a Kabaddi team based in Kolkata, West Bengal that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. Â The team is owned by Future Group and play their home matches at the Netaji Indoor Stadium.
They defeated U Mumba in The Arena in 2019 to earn a spot in the PKL final for the first time ever. At one point in the championship match, they were down Dabang Delhi 3–11. Nevertheless, despite the absence of their captain Maninder Singh, who suffered a shoulder injury in the penultimate league stage, they mounted a valiant comeback and prevailed 39–34 in the championship. They therefore won their very first PKL championship.
